For 2021, Porsche has expanded the lineup for the 2021 Panamera E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. The all-new 2021 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo is available for sale at $117,300. It houses a 2.9L twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine that churns out 552 hp and 553 lb-ft. of torque. This model makes 97 hp more than the 4 E-Hybrid. The 2021 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo can sprint from 0-60 MPH in just 3.5 seconds when equipped with the optional Sport Chrono package.

What's more impressive is its outstanding fuel economy. The 2021 4S E-Hybrid returns 22 MPG combined on gas and 50 MPGe on electric power. The interior of the 2021 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo gives an airplane-cockpit-like experience. A 12.3-inch touchscreen display sits proudly at the center of the dash but supports only Apple CarPlay while a 10-speaker Hi-Fi sound system is standard. In its segment, the 2021 4S E-Hybrid competes with the Audi RS6 Avant and the Mercedes-AMG E63 S Wagon.

With just a split-second difference in the acceleration test, the Panamera stands second leaving behind the Audi RS6 Avant. The Panamera interior reflects traditional Porsche values- Kelly Blue Book

The 2021 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo’s interior is the best in the class and also more luxurious than the rivals. With all the soft-touch Nappa leather upholstery in the cabin, the Panamera Sport Turismo sets the tone for comfort in the cabin and along with the sporty elements it provides. The leather-wrapped steering wheel is inspired by the 911 Carrera and adds that extra bit of oomph with the help of the 5 dials that light up on the digital driver display. It gives you the feel of a cockpit more than a driver’s seat.

2021 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo cockpit area

The front seats are very comfortable and power-adjustable with a heating capability. There's ample passenger space for six-footer's upfront. At the back, two adults can sit comfortably while the middle seat is best left for kids. The roofline of the Sport Turismo helps in rear headroom and cargo volume. Behind the rear seats, you get 15 cu-ft. of cargo space. Folding them will give access to a maximum cargo capacity of 45.7 cu-ft. With this space, the trunk can easily swallow 4 large bags for a weekend getaway.

The Audi RS6 Avant has class-leading legroom while the headroom in the front row of the Mercedes-AMG E 63 is comforting for taller occupants. The interior dimensions of the Sport Turismo are not available at the time of this writing. Upfront, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Porsche Communication Management (PCM) stays perched beautifully in the dashboard within the reach of the driver. Unfortunately, it only features Apple CarPlay. At the top of the dashboard sits an analog clock.

2021 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo infotainment screen

Paired with it is a 10-speaker Hi-Fi sound system but you can upgrade it to a Bose or Burmester 3D sound system with 14 and 21 speakers respectively. The main flaw of the Sport Turismo is its infotainment system. No wonder that the screen displays crisp and clean graphics but its menu structure is very complicated. Besides that, the touch does not respond quickly to the user's inputs. Below the screen, there are many buttons and touch-sensitive areas for audio and climate settings. Some other infotainment and interior features are listed below:

  • Dual-zone climate control with separate temperature settings for driver and front passenger
  • Tilt & telescopic multi-function leather steering wheel with paddle shifters
  • 12.3-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay
  • 10-speaker Hi-Fi sound system
  • 8-way power-adjustable front comfort seats with heating function
  • Wireless charging
  • Leather door and dash trim

The 2021 Porsche Panamera isn’t a traditional beauty, and yet it’s striking all around- The Car Connection

Like the standard 2021 Panamera, the Sport Turismo lineup will also see a minor facelift in the front and rear fascia. The design however will not walk too far off from the present identity of the Panamera. The front holds the low slung frog-eye-like headlamps with 4-point DRLs but will also add more DRLs strips into the front fascia through the front air pockets. The 2021 Sport Turismo has a high ground clearance compared to its rivals. This means the underbelly of the vehicle is less likely to hit the ground against a bump on the road.

2021 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo

As you move to the side, the 2021 Sport Turismo seems more petite than it actually is. At the rear, the wagon-esque shape becomes more evident. The smoked LED taillights add that sporty edge to the ride. Quad exhaust vents are provided at the bottom keeping in line with the quintessential Porsche design language. It also rides higher than before as the wheel size has been bumped up to 20-inches as standard. The 2021 Sport Turismo's wide wheelbase reflects its spacious interior room.

The Audi RS6 Avant's ground clearance measures 0.9 inches less than the Sport Turismo. This might affect the driving experience of the vehicle on rougher pavements. On the other hand, the Mercedes-AMG E 63 weighs just 4,669 lbs and is almost 400 lbs less than the Sport Turismo. This factor corresponds to its blitzing performance on the road. Some other cool exterior highlights of the Sport Turismo are mentioned below:

  • LED headlights
  • LED DRLS with Porsche Dynamic Lighting
  • LED brake lights
  • 20-inch alloy wheels
  • Quad exhaust tips

2021 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo vs Mercedes-AMG E 63 Wagon

The Mercedes-AMG E 63 wagon is priced around $5,400 less than the Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. One of the main differences is the absence of a hybrid engine in the AMG E 63. However, it boasts a powerful engine capable enough to beat Porsche in both performance tests. When it comes to fuel economy, the hybrid engine saves the day for the Sport Turismo. The cabin of both cars are equally luxurious in their respective tastes but it's the AMG E 63 with class-leading cargo capacity.

2021 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo vs 2021 Audi RS6 Avant

The Audi RS6 Avant is the cheapest offering in this competition. In fact, it is the soul brother of the Panamera Sport Turismo but with a bigger punch than the latter. However, both cars have similar performance numbers. Things are not the same in terms of fuel economy as the Sport Turismo houses a hybrid and therefore flaunts the best MPG figures. The RS6 Avant offers more standard technological features and good cargo capacity as well.
