2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo SUV Features

8.7/10

The 2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo offers a standard All-Wheel drive and a complete entertainment package. Be that as it may, as is regularly the situation with Porsche, the great stuff is limited to the additional package list.

The Cayenne Turbo starts at $127,850 with a lot of standard features, and more space for customization is offered with optional packages. The sport package is also available for more speed. Besides, the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo even offers Hi-Fi sound system, Audio Theft Deterrent System, Cargo Space Lights, Rear Fog Lamps, and Porsche Vehicle Tracking Services.

Here you'll discover highlights like quad-zone atmosphere control, LED headlights, path change sensor, and many more subtle touches that bring it right up to 2021 standards. It also gets a heads-up display along with versatile voyage control with gridlock help, and path keeps support for effortless highway mile-munching duties.

2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo SUV Maintenance, Reliability and Warranty

According to J.D Power training, even though the Cayenne Turbo offers a plethora of safety features, there is still a need for a great deal of improvement for it to achieve the title utterly reliable vehicle. In multiple feedbacks, a problematic braking system and poor reliability have been reported as drawbacks. Well, the good thing is with every passing year, we witness a more reliable car, and so we look forward to the 2021 Cayenne Turbo, which is expected to come with a robust framework and offer more reliability.

While the base Cayenne Turbo is an easy-to-maintain SUV, the hybrid version would require a little extra care and money as all the repairs, replacement parts, and services for a hybrid cost more. Both the base and hybrid models have a similar ownership cost as they are mostly counterparts.

As compared to the rivals, the Cayenne Turbo is not the best option to opt for if you are looking for superior reliability as there are many in this range with a lower price tag and higher reliability ratings. The 2021 model is expected to have a similar stance and not be far away in terms of safety as the current model.

Warranty

Although the BMW X6 M50I AWD offers a better warranty package, the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo is giving a fierce competition by providing all kinds of warranty offers you would want in your SUV. 24-hour roadside assistance coupled with a powertrain and limited warranty package is provided for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever is earlier.

A complimentary maintenance plan is offered, which is valid for one year or 10,000 miles. Also, you can enjoy a corrosion warranty for a period of 12-years and unlimited miles, allowing the Cayenne to somehow make up for the average reliability ratings.

In terms of fuel cost, the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo is only second to the fantastic BMW X6 M50i. The hybrid model of the car comes with a better fuel efficiency making it a more pocket-friendly package, which is perfectly fine for you if you are looking for low fuel cost and easiness on the wallet.

2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo SUV Buying Advice

The Porsche Cayenne comes in three variants, and the Cayenne Turbo is the best amongst them. The car is equipped with a long list of convenience features, comfort, and style set the bar high for any competitors. In terms of speed and smooth ride, Cayenne Turbo leaves no space for competition.

Is buying a used Porsche Cayenne Turbo a good idea?

The remaining value of the Cayenne Turbo is excellent due to its durable chassis, quality material, and the Porsche badge, which makes the car more special. Buying a used Cayenne Turbo is not a problem as Porsche has a history of providing the customers with a vehicle that has the capability to run for years with little maintenance and no issues.

2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo SUV Safety

7.8/10

The NHTSA and IIHS have not yet tested the 2020 model as well as the 2021 Cayenne Turbo but a long list of safety features are offered which makes the vehicle look safe but the actual ratings are still to be known. The various functions include adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go technology, forward collision warning, parking sensors, a rearview camera, a night-vision system, and automated emergency braking. The braking system still stands as a point of concern as unfortunately, even the upcoming model fails to do so. The 2021 model is expected to come with more standard as well as upgraded safety features.

2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo v/s Audi RS Q8

Both Audi RS Q8 and Porsche Cayenne Turbo are in a neck-to-neck fight and the winner is hard to decide as the Q8 offers a slightly stronger engine but in terms of fuel efficiency, Cayenne take the lead. Audi RS Q8 becomes a comparatively reasonable choice as the price quoted for this car is less and standard features are more than that is offered in the Cayenne Turbo. You can even enjoy Android Auto in the RS Q8.

Audi RS Q8

2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo v/s BMW X6 M50I AWD

Well, the Cayenne Turbo comes with a more powerful powertrain and better acceleration system. In terms of fuel efficiency, comfort, and looks, both the cars offer similar output. BMW X6 M50i has a plus point of being pocket-friendly and consistent. So, if you are looking to spend a little extra, you can surely choose the Cayenne.

BME X6 M50I

2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo v/s Land Rover Range Rover Sport

On one hand, we have Cayenne that offers style, more power as well as speed and on the other hand we have the Range Rover Sport that comes with more torque, better braking system, and a lot of standard safety features. Both the cars do wonders in their own ways, so it is up to the need of the customer and that can help narrow down the choice for a better car amongst these two.

Land Rover Range Rover Sport

2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo SUV Final Verdict

8.1/10

Even with a few flaws in the planning and high range of the car, the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo with its incredibly well-designed exterior, speed and comfort has returned in the game to give a tougher fight this time. Porsche still needs to give attention to the braking system, standard features offered, and fuel efficiency as when compared to the quoted price, they seem abysmal. Customers would be delighted to see equal returns, especially when some competitors are doing just so. The 2021 Porsche Cayenne can be seen with a lot of improvement and upgrades, making it yet again a very appealing as well as a reasonable choice.

Pros - Power, handling, fun to drive

Cons - Not a single thing

Overall Review

10 /10 Overall Rating

Can’t say enough about Cayenne. It is an amazing vehicle to drive. When I decided on buying an SUV it was very confusing as to which to choose. They all are very similar but when I test drove Porsche I knew this is the one I want. It has everything I want in an SUV. It is spacious, looks good, has a lot of features which a few more SUV’s have but it drives like a car. There is little to no roll in the corners no matter the speed you are at. The handling is better than anything I have driven. Nothing comes close to it in handling and ride quality.
