The 2014 Nissan Sentra is a midsize sedan that is powered by a 1.8 liter inline-4 making 130hp and 128 lb-ft of torque. The Sentra comes with adequate power for daily driving. With the CVT transmission option, the Sentra does have good fuel economy as well. The interior is functional over fancy, but is comfortable and offers the basics required by everyone. Leather is available in the higher trims as are automatic air conditioning and wood accents. Nissan prices all this at a starting MSRP of 16,815, bringing it into direct competition with Chevrolet Cruze, Honda Civic, and Hyundai Elantra.

Money well spend on this one.

Pros - Excellent gas mileage, cheap to run and maintain

Cons - Missing some basic features, engine is a bit noisy

Cheap but right. Picked me up a clean 2014 Sentra with just $55,000 miles for $10,750. I was told it was the base model from the day, but was something which bothered me the least. I was looking for a reliable, fuel efficient commuter and thats what the Sentra has been to me the past 9 months or so. 34mpg was just out of this planet and a straigth cut of $600-$700 from my monthly fuel bills. A missing touch screen and an automatic airconditioning system are things that I can easily live without for this kind of economy and reliability. I really had a great time buying the used car from Roberta. She really was accomdating and was of real help in picking up the right car.

F+SV Nissan Sentra

Pros - "Great fuel economy with automatic transmission Ample trunk and rear-seat space"

Cons - Few standard features

Daily Commuter The Nissan Sentra FE+SV fullfills all my needs. Whether I am driving to my office or my wife dropping oir kids to school, this vehicle does a fantastic job in every single way. People here are quite knowledgeable and supportive. They would brief and provide you with sufficient knowledge about the car which was nice to see from young professionals. The insurance was a bit tricky because they lures me into the 5 year warranty which I did not need.

Reasonable Sedan

Pros - Infotainment, easy access controls, spacious seating

Cons - Sluggish acceleration, infotainment sure could use some upgrades

Impressive build quality and mileage the nissan sentra is a perfect car for a college graduate. my daughter absolutely loves her sentra. it gets great mileage (mid 30's) even higher when the eco mode is on. looks and feels like a midsize sedan even though it's a compact. the sentra has enough get up and go when you need it but not so much power that the young driver is overwhelmed. great car. I recommend the maxima for the parents choice. These people are welcoming, and frankly, they speak the truth and get points cleared out. So there is nothing to blame or regret later on.

The 2014 Nissan Sentra is more about the comfort and style that it offers at such a lower price range. That doesn't mean that it is not a powerful vehicle. It is equipped with a 1.8 liter 130 hp engine that provides decent overall performance. The interior is comfortable and can easily accommodate up to 5 people. The exterior design is elegant and it can easily become your daily driver. Starting at a price point of $17,000, the Nissan Sentra is one of the most affordable sedans in the market currently.

We Recommend

We recommend getting the SV trim because of the available features and the optional driver’s package, which adds additional comfort to the car. We would recommend getting the FE+ version as it does not add much to the price but saves you money in the long run when you spend on fuel.
