Considering the acceleration figures, the 2021 Nissan Maxima isn’t the best performer amongst the competitors and takes its time to reach 60MPH from naught. Even in the quarter-mile run, the car is an average performer and won’t pin any excitement meter around. The fastest car of the lot is 2021 Infiniti Q50 which is just a tad bit quicker than the 2021 Nissan Maxima both in terms of 0-60 and quarter-mile timing.

The braking on the 2021 Nissan Maxima is quite sure-footed and has an evident bite to it. Although it is not the best braking car in its segment it’s not the worst either. The ride takes some time to come to a complete halt but it does so with composure and the car doesn’t sway away from its path. During the emergency braking test, the car decelerates from 60MPH to zero in 113 feet which is a little slower than 2021 Dodge Charger.

I’m happy with my Maxima

Pros - Heated and ventilated seats, hands-free power tailgate, love the styling

Cons - Could use a couple more charging ports, it should come with an automatic and not a CVT, a little noisy at startup

Do keep in mind... If I don't step into the pedal it gets the gas mileage that it says it will, but you always have to keep an eye on the speedo, because if not, you’re going to end up going a lot faster than the car makes it feel like it's going. Do keep one thing in mind, it is a little noisy at startup until it warms up. The salesperson was a polite man but he had no knowledge of the vehicle he was trying to sell.

Love the styling!

Pros - Comfortable, responsive, quiet

Cons - Don’t hold value, interior has plastic

Cool design First and foremost let’s address the elephant in the room, CVT is a big NO. I wish Nissna had an automatic option like the rest of its rivals has. Apart from this, I am genuinely fascinated with its driving dynamics. Not only that but it looks amazing as well. The white color and the chrome alloy wheels are made for each other. It is just pleasing to look at. And since this is a sedan it is very comfortable to ride, the cabin is spacious, and the interior looks great. Infotainment is easy to use and it has Apple CarPlay support but the speaker’s quality is not great. There approach towards any issues in the vehicle even after buying is amazing.

2021 Nissan Maxima

Pros - Easy access controls, luxurious interiors, well balanced driving dynamics

Cons - No AWD, bit expensive

Maximum Limits Just WOW!!!! for a sedan. Looks cool. Infotainment is really cool and brings a great ambience. Interior lighting is excellent. Steering is precise. Its suspension are nothing thought of, they drive the car so easily over ditches , bumps and dips with such a ease. Its more like crusing in this sedan on road.
