The redesigned 2021 Cadillac Escalade is almost out, just two weeks away to be precise and while it was secretly revealed by the company itself in a press release, we also get you the renderings. Cadillac will be officially revealed on February 4, on the eve of Oscars. None other than Stan Lee will be unveiling the new SUV, who has directed a short film on Escalade which would hence be used for promotional purposes.
Cadillac Escalade front end was recently leaked in an ad where it is being shot. That in conjunction with pictures that were taken last year, someone (Nikita Chuyko) made a rendering of what it might look like. It can be taken as a very accurate sketch and it does get you a picture of what the new Escalade might look like.
Starting from the front end, the new and big trapezoidal grill takes a daunting presence inspired from the new CT6 and XT6, it is accompanied by the sleek headlights that edge into the grill. There is a kind of signature that you’d see if Escalade is in your rear mirror and that is vertical LED running lights which used to be on the outgoing model as well but in a very different style. A glimpse of the side might make you think about the new Tahoe and Yukon SUVs. The rear always had tall headlights and it is flanked by LEDs and it has a spoiler on the back too.
On the inside, the SUV would be updated with new premium interiors and be laden with higher quality materials. The gauge cluster is, as usual, growing in sizes and that might see a big infotainment screen, 38” OLED to be exact. How the world is going the Tesla way with the screens.
The powertrains aren’t talked about yet but current Escalade is installed with 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 that does 420 horses and 460 pound-feet of torque the power goes in through 10-speed automatic transmission. We would be sharing further details about the powertrain once official figures and talk is out. Cadillac will be offering heavy discounts on the current-Escalade. Whopping discounts of $9000 aren’t bad. eh?
