The model spied was probably in the LT trim and from the looks of it, GM will be giving a complete overhaul to the design of this much-popular truck. The Silverado 1500 won’t see the column shifter in a number of trims and the Super Cruise will make its way in the lineup as well.

GM has been long testing their popular Silverado 1500 pickup in multiple locations of the country and now, some new images have come out courtesy of the folks at GM authority. The latest LT/LTZ Silverado 1500 was spotted with production-ready lights, which now reveals greater detail of what exactly is waiting for you on the upgraded truck. Alternatively to the three-tier lighting design, the newest design looks two-tiered, with a headlight strip on the very top.

A brand new spin on this Chevy’s unique signature LED will double up as the vehicle's turn indicator. The new headlight bunch seems to wash up a reasonably busy light arrangement on the ongoing trucks. Instead of a chiefly rectangular upper headlight section, the new trucks get a new angled notch to the lights' inner edges. The variations can be seen on both the LT/Z trim model and the simplified (halogen-only) base design applied to the WT (and Custom) trim packages.

Investigating the spy shots demonstrates the"air curtain" aerodynamic treatment initiated on the contemporary Silverado--will last in the restyled trucks. We can now see indications of a more substantial "air intake" design feature sculpted into the borders of this front-fascia. The fearless design feature is just another indication of this simpler, less overpowering nature of this 2022 Silverado 1500's front-fascia design and style.

The revived Chevy Silverado 1500 will arrive with further styling rifts in the front fascia, together with a compacted cockpit equalled by bigger centre infotainment, and deletion of this column-mounted shifter on certain variations also improved materials too. Under the skin, the 2022 Silverado will utilize the GM world B structure to allow the truck to accommodate GM's Super Cruise semi-autonomous feature as an available option for higher trims.

Standard on Silverado is a 4.3L V6 mill producing 285 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque along with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The upper variants come with either a 2.7L engine producing 310 hp and 348 lb-ft of torque along with an 8-speed automatic transmission or a 5.3L V8 producing 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque along with the 8-speed automatic transmission.
