Building upon its pure performance bred, refreshed F-Type coupe makes it so easy to drive fast. The already capable platform ups the ante with stiffened underpinnings this year, while the Brit is pure class as always. Starting at $61,600, the F-Type P300 coupe runs the zero to sixty sprint in around the five-second mark.

What's new for the 2021 Jaguar F Type Coupe?

The 2021 Jaguar F-Type is a pure-bred performance car that is built to thrill. To reward the buyers, Jaguar specs the F-Type coupe with the revised - tightened suspension, rear-wheel drive only, and a slightly quicker steering ratio in the 2021 F-Type turbo-4 for tighter cornering. Since power isn't the only deciding factor when it comes to the overall performance, this Brit offers a well-balanced ride quality and agility.

The carryover chassis are assisted by a well-coordinated engineering system to deliver the enthusiasm it is known for. The newly available carbon-ceramic brakes are super reliable with an instant stopping force, but the standard brakes on the P300 model exhibit a respectable stopping performance to inspire confidence when driving at higher than average speeds.

What Engine is under the hood of the new 2021 Jaguar F-Type Coupe?

The entry-level 2021 F-Type dubbed as the P300 model is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. The rear-wheel Jaguar F-Type coupe gets 296 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque through a recalibrated eight-speed Quickshift ZF automatic transmission. The turbo-lag is minimal and ample torque is available at the low-rpm range. The base 2021 F-Type P300 sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds with its 296 hp 2.0L four-cylinder engine, while the V6 powered F-Type coupe does the same run in under five seconds.

If you want more power, Jaguar offers the F-Type with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 375 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque. This P380 R-Dynamic is an all-wheel-drive (AWD) car, just like the Jaguar F-Type R, which is powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with 575 horsepower. The Jaguar F-Type Coupe has a maximum top speed of 155 mph while the R Dynamic trim tops out at 171 mph.

The refreshed F-Type base model rides atop the same chassis and carries over the turbo-four powertrain of the 2020 F-Type. Most of the Jag F-Type coupe rivals are powered by bigger six-cylinder engines includes the Mercedes-AMG C43 coupe and Lexus RC350 F Sport. Only the Porsche offers its 718 Cayman with a four-cylinder engine, a 2.0-liter Flat-4 engine that makes 300 hp. But the 718 Cayman's four-cylinder engine results in 4.5 seconds 0-60 mph time, similar to the AMG C43 coupe which has a much more powerful V6 engine under the hood of the base model.

Does the 2021 Jaguar F-Type Coupe get a Good Gas Mileage?

The Jaguar F-Type's cost of fuel consumption is what holds this pure performance car to take the top spot. However, the F-type turbo-4 version is the most fuel-efficient in the lineup. The 2021 F-type 2.0-liter engine comes unchanged so we expect it shall return the similar MPG ratings as the 2020 car. For reference, the 2020 F-Type base model managed 23/30/26 mpg on the city/highway/combined run.

The new 2021 Jaguar F Type Coupe is offered with a standard 2.0L Turbocharged engine provides a great driving performance along with the maximum fuel efficiency as compared to the rivals. The F Type also gets a 16.6 gallons gas tank which indeed gives it the maximum range of 481 miles on the highways.

The Lexus RC 350 F Sport on the other hand, with its big lumpy V6 engine, is the least efficient of the lot. The RC 350 F Sport is capable of doing 19 MPG in the city and about 26 MPG on the motorways.
