The GLC badge was launched in 2016, replacing the GLK Class which was not pinching the sales chart. As part of the first GLC generation, Mercedes also launched the coupe-styled GLC 300, and just like its SUV counterpart, the coupe became an instant hit too. An abundance of confidence, a tempting design, and some innovative technologies, are some of the key attributes of this vehicle. The 2021 GLC 300 SUV promises to retain the same philosophy, without any further changes. But given that the 2022/2021 GLC 300 has been revamped, the GLC 300 Coupe is also expected to go through similar changes. So how far have the changes gone? Let’s find out.

Despite the upscale and comforting aspects of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 Coupe SUV, a question of reliability remains, even for luxury cars. With a starting price of $50,000, the GLC coupe might not be a yacht-owners go-to-club vehicle, but it sure does manages to stand out with its slanting roof. And when such an eye-catching piece of machinery passes hands, a certain degree of enthusiastic and safe driving should be a normal expectation. The manufacturer has tied all the expectations of the buyers with the threads of practicality and reliability which can be proved on and off the paper with critique satisfaction reports and J.D. Power ratings.
Be it the J.D Power reports or critics,GLC 300 Coupe SUV has been a popular choice in the market which has tempted customers for years. For 2021, J.D Power Reports are not officially out but it gets the same eminent features as that of the base model. Due to a lack of data, we would take the 2020 model as a reference. The 2020 model managed to score a good and reliability rating of 83 out of 100 and scored the most satisfactory dealership experience of 83 out of 100.
As far as ownership costs are concerned, the GLC coupe sees a depreciation of which is around 43-45% over five year. Fuel costs are a bit reasonable, but then again the engine was efficient then. As can be gathered from the data below, the GLC coupe saw the most amount of cost in the first year. From there on, the cost somewhat remained standardised, yet it was above $10,000, and that was lot for $50,000 car. But provied that the 2021 GLC coupe will be more refined and has been tuned to drive more efficiently, the numbers will definitely improve.

GLC 300 Coupe SUV is a serious déjà vu that comes to align in the competition with Audi Q5, both these cars have equally got recognition in the automotive market, still, we can find that Audi Q5 beats the Mercedes in the number game, with peppy performance, great acceleration and pricing are the key areas where Q5 beats GLC 300 Coupe SUV. Even after lagging behind in the race of performance, GLC 300 Coupe SUV succeeds in offering an opulent and salubrious interior.
The first thing that might create a conundrum is the “Coupe SUV”, with the addition of the coupe Mercedes might be altering the styling but it’s really reducing the practicality in the area of second-row space. Even though the model gets peppy performance, stellar fuel economy, and lavishly designed interior, it drops the jaw with a heavy price.
