An Italian luxury car brand that has been manufacturing cars for over 100 years. Maserati was established on December 1st, 1914 in Bologna Italy by Alfieri Bindo, L tire, and Ernesto Maserati. Alfieri binds and Ernesto worked in a partnership with Italian manufacturer D otto to build Grand Prix cars. In 1926 the brothers cut ties with D otto and began building cars under the Maserati marque. Maserati had several owners over its 100 plus years of existence. the Maserati brothers, the RC family, french car manufacturer trio Argentinian industrialist Alejandro de Tomaso and fiat which became the sole owner in 1993.
in 1997 fiat sold 50% of its share in Maserati to Ferrari which took full control of the brand in 1999. over the years Maserati has introduced its unique brand of luxury in distinctive cars like the Maserati 3500, Quattroporte, Guild li Grand Turismo, Levante, and Alfieri.
Maserati has had many ups and downs over the years but the brand is now stronger than ever and has broken its sales record every year since 2010 also, Maserati seems ready to evolve with the shift towards all-electric vehicles without compromising on luxury and power. so it would be exciting to see what this brand will offer in the future.
the trident logo was drawn by one of the Maserati brothers, it was designed and drawn by Maserati brother Mario. it was inspired by Aa famous landmark located near their hometown of Bologna Italy. the fountain of Neptune in the piazza maggiore. it was seen as a symbol of strength. the first car created under the Maserati brand was the Tipo 26.
The Maserati Quattroporte is a full-size luxury sports saloon that comes in 4 door body type. Currently in its 6th generation, with the first generation launched in 1963. It is larger in size compared to all previous generation Quattroporte. It is offered in front-engine layout with 2 petrol and 1 diesel engine option to choose from.
Under the petrol engine option, a 3.0 Liter twin-turbocharged Ferrari F160 V6 engine is available which puts out 424 hp @5,750 rpm with 424 lb-ft of torque. This engine setup is available in the Rear-wheel-drive option only and a four-wheel-drive layout is available in left-hand drive markets only.

The Maserati Ghibli is an executive 4 door car unveiled at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show. the Ghibli is Maserati’s comeback in the mid-size luxury car segment after a wait of almost 2 decades. It is offered in front-engine layout with 1 engine option to choose from in both petrol and diesel fuel. A 3.0 Liter twin-turbocharged Ferrari F160 V6 engine is available which puts out 424 hp @5,750 rpm with 428 lb-ft of torque. Both options of the rear-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive layout are available mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The Maserati Levante is a 5-door, Mid-size luxury crossover SUV launched in 2016 at the New York Auto Show. It is available in a 3.0 Liter V6 twin-turbocharged petrol engine putting out 45 bhp @5750 rpm and 369 lb-ft of torque. This same engine is also available in a more powerful state of tune in which it puts out 424 bhp @5750 rpm and 428 lb-ft of torque.
