Lexus’s elegant drive quality and unparalleled reliability, courtesy its Toyota genes, makes them a pretty valuable and lucrative buy. The RX 350 badge has been one the best selling SUVs in America and the 2021 model promises to uphold that reputation in its fourth generation. Being a carryover model, all changes and additions to the 2020 RX 350 will continue, aside from standardizing a few features in 2021. Costs are expected to start from $45,550 for the base model and go up to $52,775 for the top F-Sport with the Performance package. Lexus’ gameplay of offering some of the best looking cars with the backing of Toyota’s reliability has worked in the past with almost all of their offerings. From developing the best sounding sports car (LC 500) to the heaviest of SUV’s the LX. The RX SUV marks the entrance into Lexus’s line-up of three-row SUVs, the GX, and the LX. The RX comes within both V6 and a V6 with two electric motors. Both are still the same and the Lexus’ 350’S ride quality has remained undeterred. The Performance Package for the F sport versions is now called the Handling package and with a bit more software upgrade, Lexus has decided to pit against the likes of Mercedes Benz GLE, BMW X3, and Audi Q5. Does the Lexus manage to stand out? Here’s our take on it.

Lexus is the luxury division of Toyota. The RX 350 is a luxurious mid-sized SUV and is considered one of the best reliable luxury cars in the market. With good customer reviews and low cost of maintenance and repair, the demand for this car has never seen a dip. Here in this review section, we would look at its reliability rating, ownership cost, and its warranty terms offered and how Lexus has been keeping up with the reputation

Reliability and Ownership Costs

The 2021 Lexus RX 350 credentials are largely due to its Toyota genes. It has a score of 85 out of 100 in terms of overall dependability from J.D. Power. It has been rated 4 stars out of 5 in terms of reliability by J.D. Power. For a period of five years, the repair cost of the Lexus hardly goes over $1,000, and maintenance costs almost the same as fuel costs, the Lexus has one of the most practical of numbers. Even depreciation value is low, compared to German cars. The Germans score less in reliability scoresheet for its maintenance a higher depreciation value. The Lexus on the other hand barely has seen any such worries, for after all this is a Toyota inside.

2021 Lexus RX 350 Engine and Performance

8.1/10

For the 2021 model year, the Lexus isn't anticipating any adjustment in its Engine Performance. The 3.5L Regular V6 motor offered in the Lexus RX 350 produces 295 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque output. The standard 8-speed Automatic transmission is smooth and efficient. Both FWD and AWD drivetrain configuration is available, though the former is standard.

2021 Lexus RX 350 SUV has 3.5L V6 Engine

Continuing with the new revised suspension, stiffer-anti-roll bars, retuned dampers, and a sturdier body structure, the Lexus 350 as confident as ever. Especially, when attacking those corners for the RX 350 stays as steady as it can, which is pretty much. One more improvement over the 2020 model is the steering feedback, the Lexus 350 has managed to improve provided that was an irk with the last model.

The most perfect suv

Pros - Smooth shifts, kick tailgate, power moonroof

Cons - Nothing

Overall Review

Refined and smooth through shifts, the first thing I believe everyone would notice in 350. One can barely notice any the transmission shifts and when going over pot holes. Suspension works remarkably well and seats enhance this comfort even more. Premium features inside out make it a must buy for families looking for comfort in a vehicle.

Not bad but unfortunately not best either

Pros - Triple beam headlights, Crimson toned leather seats, heads up display

Cons - Overall performance could be a little better, significant windblast, No sporty driving factor

Overall Review

9 /10 Overall Rating

If I talk about the Lexus on whole, the RX series stays true to the name of the brand with all the premium aspects piled up in an efficient manner. However, they call it a sports trim which adds the expectations of the anticipated drivers like me. Not to mention, it doesn't drive bad by any means but fails to put out any sort of sporty or performance vibe. Some of the readers out here might judge my expectations to be exceedingly sketchy but let me assure you I’ve tried every possible way to ensure if it’s not just me who is not able to juice out the performance feel out of this suv. The truth is, Rx350 sport is just a name with no mustard in throttle and nothing to show in the real world. If Lexus introduced it as a luxury Suv which makes more sense, this might as well have been one of my favorite cars. Unfortunately, they didn’t which makes me say this is just another Suv I came across with.

Lexus rx sports, a sporty practical family hauler

Pros - Futuristic center console, powerful engine, drives in any weather condition

Cons - Instrument cluster, center stack stuffed with buttons, no optional performance tires

Overall Review

10 /10 Overall Rating

Vehicles are not cheap these days. People need a family hauler and a daily practical ride but most of us want a sporty car that can have the ability to sprint through the line with impeccable timing. Having said that, I was no different and had to decide which way I wanted to go. After a lot of research and internet searches along with asking friends, lexus rx350 sports is what I shortlisted. It gives me what I had asked for in my dream car and at the same time doesn't lack what is needed either. A perfect blend of practicality and sportiness that can be used to pick kids up from school or go to work and a performance run on sunday mornings. Versatile and class mixed together in perfect proportions. P.S I almost forgot, this is my first Lexus and an AWD.

The most perfect suv

Refined and smooth through shifts, the first thing I believe everyone would notice in 350. One can barely notice any the transmission shifts and when going over pot holes. Suspension works remarkably well and seats enhance this comfort even more. Premium features inside out make it a must buy for families looking for comfort in a vehicle.

Cargo space of my new lexus

Designed to keep driving in all weather conditions, our new lexus is a premium suv with loads of cargo space to stow stuff up. Smooth driving quality and precise handling are what can be called as the best aspects of lexus after cargo.
