2021 Land Rover Range Rover plug-in hybrid SUV Buying Advice

We will recommend the HSE P400e trim as this contains most of the necessary entertainment features at a lower price than P400e Autobiography. It is packed with most of the important safety and comfort features. On the other hand, P400e Autobiography comes with advanced infotainment and safety features with a good exterior outline. But to acquire these, it costs you a few thousand dollars more. 2020 Range Rover PHEV is ranked #2 among its rivals and does provide features that its rivals lack.

Is buying a used Land Rover Range Rover PHEV a good idea?

Owning new or used Range Rover PHEV will surely crack your bank account mostly due to its maintenance charges. You can go forward if money is not a constraint. Anyway, you get the best off-roader crammed with many features.

2017, 2016 & 2015 models will be better when depreciation values are taken into account. If you opt for the 2017 model, the vehicle will encounter a price decline of 24.97%, letting you pay only 45.76% of the original price, giving you 75% of its lifetime ahead, ie. around 9 years. The net used value will be 29.24 which includes annual maintenance cost, depreciation and lifetime of the car. Going for 2016 models, having a price decline of 22.01% will make you pay 37.76% of the original price and in turn, you will get 8 years of reliable lifetime.

2021 Land Rover Range Rover plug-in hybrid SUV Engine and Performance

2021 Land Rover Range Rover Plug-in Hybrid SUV side view

7.4/10

2021 Land Rover Range Rover PHEV Vs. Volvo XC90 T8 Plug-In Hybrid Inscription

Although Volvo XC90 T8 Plug-In Hybrid Inscription is the fastest with a top speed higher than Range Rover, the power delivered is slightly lower than Range Rover.

Volvo XC90 T8 Plug-In Hybrid Inscription

But it is a more comfortable and has an interior slightly in a level higher than that of Range Rover. With full-electric mode Range Rover PHEV can cover more miles (25 miles) than Volvo (22 miles).

2021 Land Rover Range Rover PHEV Vs. Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid

Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid stands up with its performance and fuel efficiency but lacks the luxurious and tech-loaded interior the Range Rover has. Also, it is not an off-roader like the Range Rover.

Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid

When Cayenne is made to run completely in electric mode, it can travel 14 miles which is quite low in this duo. It doesn’t offer much cargo space and stowage options as does the Range Rover.

2021 Land Rover Range Rover plug-in hybrid SUV Final Verdict

9.0/10

The 2021 Land Rover Range Rover PHEV has attention-grabbing interiors with a lot of technology and safety amenities that are semi-autonomous. If you have ever wished for a Range Rover PHEV, we suggest one since the competitors lack the road presence and opulence a Range Rover offers, may be a Cullinan perhaps, but that's on another league
