2021 Kia Soul Competition

9.1/10

2021 Kia Soul Wagon Vs Hyundai Kona

The Hyundai Kona gives a neck to neck competition as it is also a Korean based car like Kia Soul. It comes with a similar engine 2.0L inline 4- engine and produces 147hp and 132lb-ft of torque whereas Kia Soul is a better car in terms of performance.

2021 Hyundai Kona

It also has better cargo capacity and cabin space. So overall Kia Soul is the most recommended one as it is a complete package and is also the least expensive among its competitors.

2021 Kia Soul Wagon Vs Subaru Crosstrek

The Subaru Crosstrek gives a head to head competition to Kia Soul with its powerful performance, cargo space, ample amount of legroom/headroom and towing capacity but the Kia Soul takes the charge with its safety features, fuel efficiency, and pocket-friendly price where Subaru cross trek lacks.

2021 Subaru Crosstrek

That makes it a value for money offer for buyers but for those who are looking for a powerful engine and an ample amount of space inside the car, the cross trek is the best choice for the buyers.

2021 Kia Soul Final Verdict

The 2021 Kia Soul is a stylish car with decent space and offers great performance with its 2.0L inline 4 engine. The vehicle is offered in six trims with all basic features and latest modifications giving a comfortable and efficient ride. We get the best mixture of elegance and style in the all-new Kia Soul. Kia Soul 2020

Pros - Two tone finish, wireless charging, 12v outlet in cargo area

Cons - No cons

Overall Review

9 /10 Overall Rating

The most practical car of 2020, Kia soul has everything just at the right spot. Blended with looks, easy and smooth driveability along with good utility packs it among the most useful cars of this year. I've owned a long list of cars and have a fair amount of idea what other brands are offering in this price range.

Small suv at a price of hatchback

Pros - Easy to drive, sunroof, tail light

Cons - Stability, little out of space, button quality around touch screen

9 /10 Overall Rating

Well for the size, which for sure has a few downsides like space inside, it proves to be easier to drive in suburban traffic. Stability and Soul I think also don't get along well and driving on freeways gets it on its nerves. Due to elevated ride height, I have never felt safe driving is past 60. Tried multiple times but it fails to hold that composure.

Turbo!

Pros - Red stitched comfortable seats, smooth and easy driver, powerful

Cons - Cold start, no manual stick options, cramped up buttons on wheel

Overall Review

8 /10 Overall Rating

A pocket-sized powerhouse generating over 200 horses from that mediocre proportioned engine under the hood. Turbo works flawlessly for what it's supposed to do and without one, I can't imagine how it would drive. A stick transmission option would have been imposing on such smooth drive quality. Having said that, Lately, I've been facing issues with the cold start wherein morning, it takes a good 10-15 minutes before starting to idle how it used to. For a first few starts, it stalls before idling at 2k RPMs. Happened to me several times and I had to give it a couple of extra tries to make it light up with that good linear sound.

With a manual stick

Not just good priced, it happens to be one of those ultra rarest cars under 20k to feature an orthodox manual stick for driving. An old school setup with just the right amount of frills for driver assistance, Kia soul never disappoints in daily driving unless you're past 70 on a freeway where it shakes to a moderate extend because of the design

5 years warranty on Kia s

If you're in the market looking for a reliable car that has decent driveability, it is a good option to add in the list. Sure has some shortcomings like ground clearance which has been a real pain especially because of the place I'm from.
