- December 19, 2019- fractured right brake caliper- The right brake caliper could've been fractured during casting in the 2020 Jeep Renegade, and customers were informed to check and get it replaced free of cost.
2021 Jeep Renegade Customer Complaints
The 2021 Jeep Renegade is still new in the market so it has not received any complaints yet according to the NHTSA but in the previous year's model, the 2020 Jeep renegade received quite a few.
Most of the complaints were regarding brake malfunction, one customer complained about the car accelerating when they tried hitting brakes and ended up totaling their Jeep into a tree. You get an Anti-Corrosion Perforation warranty of 5 years which covers any body part that might get corroded. You also get a powertrain warranty which is covered for a period of 5 years or 60,000 miles. The warranty is certainly not the best in the segment as most of its rivals offer a battery warranty package.
