2021 Hyundai Veloster Buying Advice

We would recommend the Turbo R-Spec trim level for the Hyundai Veloster. It is decently priced and is placed in the middle of the Veloster lineup. It also gets some of the most practical and useful features and the 210 hp I-4 engine. It also offers some sporty features as standard plus it looks good. The R-Spec is offered at $23,450, which is a really competitive price point to get a 210 hp car.

However, if they had put the 7-speed Tiptronic in the Turbo R-spec, it would have been better. With the Turbo R-Spec, you get some of the best features like blind-spot monitoring and sports-tuned suspension and steering controls. The Veloster scored 78 out of 100 points in the J.D.Power report. The Veloster is the most sorted hatchback in the segment with amazing reliability and unmatchable warranty coverage. The fuel economy is not compromised much with enhanced power.

Is buying a used Hyundai Veloster a good idea?

The Veloster is fun to drive hatchback. It has been around for several years to prove its worth and capability. Its size and performance are unique. You can avail a great deal on a used Hyundai Veloster easily as there are so many cars up for grabs. This Hyundai loses just 7%-12% of its value in the first year. 2021 Hyundai Veloster vs 2020 Kia Soul

Kia Soul is similar to the Veloster in terms of engine configuration. But if we talk about the performance and fuel economy, the Veloster is way ahead of Kia Soul. Also, the soul gets a boxy design whereas the Veloster is curvy and stylish. The Veloster looks more performance-oriented and aggressive.

 2020 Kia Soul

Kia being a part of the Hyundai gets the same practicality and reliability, however, if you like to engage with the drive, then the 2021 Hyundai Veloster is the one for you. The Soul comes out as a perfect city ride, however, you are better off with the Veloster on the highways.

2021 Hyundai Veloster vs 2020 Toyota Corolla Hatchback

The Corolla hatchback is a worthy opponent to the Veloster in terms of design and features. But even with a powerful engine, the performance is weak. The Corolla does have better efficiency and comfort whereas the Veloster is much more responsive and compromises a little bit with fuel efficiency.

 2020 Toyota Corolla Hatchback

The Corolla is one of the most loved vehicles in the US market. The Hyundai Veloster on the other hand is slowly gaining its reputation as a performance vehicle with its 'N' performance version.
