However, like all-electric cars, the grille is quite small and outlines where the grille would be, but the GT variant comes mesh-like surface that looks like a grille.

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-e SUV Safety

The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-e has not yet been crash-tested by the NHTSA and the IIHS, so we cannot comment on its safety ratings. The 2021 Mach-e is built on a new Ford Platform called the Global Electrified 1 platform, which is shared by no other Ford vehicle.

That said, Ford has equipped the 2021 Mustang Mach-e with many safety features which include a forward sensing system, multiple airbags, ABS and also comes with Ford's Co-Pilot - a driver-assist suite of features which include pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, blind-spot information system, and many more, available standard on all trims.

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-e SUV Competition

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-e vs 2021 Hyundai Kona Electric

The Hyundai Kona electric comes with many good features, however, it makes lesser power and lacks in performance. However, offers more range than the base trim, the Mach-e California Route 1 trim offers much more range, and Mach-e comes with the option of eAWD (AWD) which is not available on the Kona. That said, the Kona Elelctric on the base trim is available at a cheaper rate.

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-e vs 2021 Volkswagen ID.4

Like the Hyundai Kona, the Volkswagen ID.4 comes with lesser power and more range. The Volkswagen does offer more range in its base trim and similarly spaced to the Mach-e. Along with this, it does come at a cheaper price, making it an attractive offering. The advantage of the Mach-e is the eAWD system and the possibility of more power and range.
