"The Ford's beautiful bodywork, vast personalization options, and practical interior also make it desirable to folks who care less about lap times and more about sporty everyday transportation." -Caranddriver

The 2021 Ford Mustang coupe and convertible are the sensible and frugal alternatives from the Mustang family. For the 2021 model year, the Ford Mustang will be priced at an MSRP that starts at $27,155 which makes it incredible value for a thoroughbred sports car. The engine offered is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost that produces 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Even though the GT models sound more appealing due to their V8 powerplants, the four cylinders have now established themselves as true performance machines.

With an outstanding acceleration number of 5.1 seconds to hit the 60 mph mark from nill, the 2021 Ford Mustang gets better with the exclusive color options and interior job. This 2021 year model sees a change in the exterior design, an aggressive look is added to the beastly performance of the Ford Mustang. Categorized as two trims, the Fastback, and Premium Fastback get features accordingly, the latter having a better offering.

2021 Ford Mustang Pricing and Features

7.0/10

Two trim options – Mustang and Mustang Premium - are on offer with the 2021 Ford Mustang. The starting price of this muscle car is $27,155 for the base model while the range-topping Premium model is priced from $33,770. The same variants are expected to be carried forward in the 2021 model. Both the 2021 Ford Mustang and the 2021 Ford Mustang Premium are powered by the same 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. It produces 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque in the base, while the premium gets High-Performance EcoBoost Engine, which upgrades to the output to 330 hp and 350 lb-ft.

Unless one is keen on upgrading for the $37,315 Ford Mustang GT for its V8 engine, the Ecoboost versions are very much the sportscar anyone would love. This generation has truly raised the bar for Ford in terms of chassis and suspension tuning and has played a big role in the 2021 Ford Mustang becoming a favorite across the world.

Among the competition, the BMW M2 boasts impressive fuel economy figures. In fact, except the old and burly Dodge Challenger, all cars have bested the 2021 Ford Mustang's fuel efficiency figures and thereby demonstrated it is nothing to be proud of.

2021 Ford Mustang Coupe

The 2021 Ford Mustang's problems do not end there. It also has one of the smallest fuel tanks in the category which when combined with its below-average efficiency, pushes it down to the car with the least range in its category.

2021 Ford Mustang Interior

9.0/10

"The modern Mustang takes a lot of its styling cues from the original Mustangs of the 1960s. The fastback body style, for instance, comes directly from those cars." - Thecarconnection

The 2021 Ford Mustang scores very high in terms of interior comfort, practicality, and overall functionality. The front seats of the Mustang are known for their heating and cooling functionality. The plastics used inside the cabin are of supreme quality and feel very luxurious and soft to touch. Ingress and egress from the car are easy because of the high stance and overall the interiors are decent.

2021 Ford Mustang Coupe Cockpit Area

However, the rear seats of the 2021 Ford Mustang are said to be a little cramped, it would be an absolute struggle for the taller individuals. The 2021 Ford Mustang is otherwise a highly practical vehicle for day-to-day use. The vehicle gets enough storage spaces at the front. There is a huge storage bin in the center console below the driver’s armrest and other small places to store other stuff.

"What you might not expect about the Mustang is the way Ford has committed to the standard four-cylinder engine. Base Mustangs used to be underpowered and unloved but not anymore." -Edmunds

The 2021 Ford Mustang comes with a handsome design and an aggressive-looking front which gives it the best road presence in the segment. The basic Fastback trim has a smooth look compared to the Premium Fastback. The exteriors get sharper and more aggressive as we move towards the GT line-up.

2021 Ford Mustang Coupe

While the lack of quirky design language makes the 2021 Ford Mustang look very appealing, it is its subtle yet sporty design language that makes it a distinctive character. The exterior Color option spans across eight distinct colors for its palette offering. Each of the eight colors stands out and ensures that the Mustang leaves its viewers in complete awe.

In terms of dimensions, the Dodge Challenger is one of the longest and the widest vehicles in the segment. The BMW is the smallest by quite a bit and this is reflected in the way it drives. The Mustangs are somewhere in the middle and enjoy a comfortable size. However, we wish the rear seats were a bit more spacious.

The real Macho.

Pros - Macho design,powerful engine,growling exhasut note

Cons - Low fuel economy, subpar interiors

A typical muscle car. great performer. This car has the right mix of power and fun to drive characteristics. The engine is a bomb pushing some heavenly noices throug the exhaust while providing enough thrust on the wheels. The steering and the chassis feels suprisingly taught for what used to be a typical violent American muscle car. Treated like a family in the dealership.

Best muscle car for a reason

Pros - Ecoboost motor is excellent, tech, acceleration is amazing

Cons - Not a single thing

Muscle car Before I bought a Mustang I never thought cars can be this much fun. The performance, sound, looks, everything is on the mark and makes Mustang stand out from the crowd. People say German sports cars have no match but I beg to differ. The 2021 Mustang is a far better deal. It’s cheap to own and maintain. Don’t forget it is very reliable as well, unlike some of the expensive counterparts where even replacing even a bolt would cost a fortune. No nonsense process. Something I really appreciate. I was there for quite a short amount of time and they still got everything done. And it’s not like they compromised on something. Everything was top-notch.

Pros - Suspension was good, comfortable seats, and powerful Engine

Cons - Impractical rear seat

I find no disadvantage in taking this home The drive was confident as the tires holds the ground well,no body movement and great handling. The handling and braking are the most important things and there are the best in the mustang and the features are pretty good The seats are comfortable, breath well and holds well. The interiors look fantastic mustang looks strong at the base with a short head that feels like it rushes and strongly rooted with the ground Dual Exhaust tips, Easy Fuel capless fuel filler, Rear diffuser Yeah, being the pioneer automaker,Ford cars are always reliable nice price to go with The dealership experience is great
