2021 Audi S7 Buying Advice

Even though the 2021 Audi S7 Prestige comes fully loaded in terms of features and equipment, the price tag of $90,300 is quite steep for what is being offered. Hence, we would recommend the Premium Plus trim, which comes at a base MSRP of $84,400 and comes with many features like heated seats, four-zone automatic climate control air conditioning, Bang & Olufsen audio system, and adaptive air suspension. If you want more, we would recommend you to opt for the Executive Package for an MSRP of $2400, which offers many safety features like Audi active lane assist with Emergency assist and Audi adaptive cruise assist with Traffic Jam assist and Turn assist. S Sport Package, which is offered at a base MSRP of $4000 is also a great addition due to the performance upgrades it offers.

8.0/10

"Audi does offer a host of standard and optional driver-assistance technology with the 2021 S7."- Caranddriver.com

The 2021 Audi S7 hasn't been crash-tested by the coveted crash testing organizations like the NHTSA and IIHS yet. However, with the inclusion of most of the safety and driver-assistance features as standard coupled with a rigid unibody chassis on offer, we are pretty sure that the 2021 Audi S7 would turn out to be one of the best in the segment in terms of crash safety.

2021 Audi S7 gets many driver-assistance features as standard

The 2021 Audi S7 is also pretty loaded with many safety and driver-assistance features including lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking, six airbags, park assist with front and rear sensors, top-view camera system, automatic headlamps and wipers, and many more. 2021 Audi S7 Vs 2021 Mercedes-AMG CLS 53

The 2021 Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 is one of the most enticing options of the performance luxury segment due to the decently spacious cabin with top-notch material quality coupled with a powerful inline-6 motor that is capable of punching out better 0-60 MPH and quarter-mile time, even with a lower performance figure in comparison to the 2021 S7. The gas mileage on offer with the 2021 CLS 53 is also marginally better than the 2021 S7. Coming in at a base MSRP of $79,900, the 2021 CLS 53 also undercuts the 2021 S7 by almost $4500.

2021 Mercedes-AMG CLS 53

2021 Audi S7 Vs 2021 Porsche Panamera

Priced at an MSRP of $87,200, the 2021 Porsche Panamera is more expensive than the 2021 Audi S7. It is also slightly worse than the 2021 Audi S7 when it comes to the cargo carrying capacity and standard features and equipment on offer coupled with a slower 0-60 MPH and the quarter-mile time. However, the 2021 Porsche Panamera is more fun to drive and offers less body roll and more grip around the corners in comparison to the 2021 Audi S7.

2021 Porsche Panamera

2021 Audi S7 Vs 2021 Maserati Ghibli S

Though the 2021 Maserati Ghibli S is quicker in terms of 0-60 MPH and quarter-mile times and offers a slightly better ride quality, its questionable reliability and a more expensive price tag of $87,780 make it hard to recommend. Sure, it is more elegant to look at and offers a spacious cabin, but the negatives are quite prevalent with the 2021 Ghibli S. The 2021 Ghibli S also comes with lower equipment and features too. Hence, we would pick the 2021 Audi S7 over the 2021 Ghibli S.

2021 Maserati Ghibli S

2021 Audi S7 Final Verdict

8.2/10

The 2021 Audi S7 turned out to be one of the best options of the segment due to the impressive powertrain offering an impeccable driving experience. It is also quite comfortable with an adequately spacious front and rear row. The infotainment and interior features also make this luxury Sportback a definite contender as one of the best of the luxury performance car segment. So, if you are in search of a car from the same segment, the 2021 Audi S7, which has been launched for a base MSRP of $84,400 should be on top of your list.
