Overall Rating

Its competitors like the Mercedes AMG E63 S and the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo are well established in the market. However, the 2021 model comes with a ton of upgrades and a base price of $109,000. Compared to its rivals, it offers one of the best value for money and it is sure to attract more buyers away from the market leader AMG E63 S Wagon.

2021 Audi RS 6 Avant Maintenance, Reliability and Warranty

Audi is one of the most popular brands commonly used for personal and business personals. It produces both luxury and sports cars and is heavily priced. Apart from expecting a high-class performance, luxury, features, and comfort, buyers expect reliability for the price they pay for these vehicles. Past reports show that Audi has been one of the most trusted brands in the market. Furthermore, they are also constantly improving their vehicles.

Reliability and Ownership Costs

Audi’s has consistently scored well in quality, design, and reliability. J.D. Power marked 4 out of 5 in reliability for Audi Models. It has overtaken Lexus and Subaru in road test performance and reliability and scored 80 out of 100 and was complemented by consumers every year. The 2021 Audi RS 6 Avant has not yet been tested on the roads, but looking at the previous figures, and the brand it’s being produced by, there’s no doubt it will be a reliable wagon.

The price for the 2021 Audi RS 6 Avant would be $109,000. This does not include $995 for destination charges. The upgrades in features, comfort, and most importantly performance truly justify its cost, but it is clearly for the moneyed ones. People living in Montana, Atlanta, Delaware, and some other tax-exempted states could expect lower prices, but there seems to be no chance that it would go below $109,000.

Talking about Warranty and Maintenance Coverage, the 2021 RS 6 would offer a four year/50,000-mile policy warranty. The Mercedes AMG E63 wagon offers the same, but Audi offers a little extra in terms of service and comes with a year of complimentary scheduled maintenance. The overall coverage is basic.

Limited Warranty

4 years/50,000 miles, whichever is earlier

Powertrain Warranty

4 years/50,000 miles, whichever is earlier

Complimentary Warranty

1 year/10,000 mile, whichever is earlier

The warranty coverage for the RS 6 is pretty good, and this is the reason for its trust in the market. Mercedes AMG E63 offers the same packages for Limited and Powertrain warranty but does not offer Complimentary Warranty. This shows how Audi has built its trust in the market and delivers reliable, and low maintenance cars with good customer service.

Miles Per Dollar

Since this is a new model to the market, the miles per dollar for this vehicle are not available at the moment. We will update you with the miles per dollar ration when we get to know the annual maintenance cost for the vehicle.

2021 Audi RS 6 Avant Buying Advice

As there is no trim available to choose from, it would be easier for you to make your choice. You could opt for some additional packages having more luxury and safety features, but Audi seems to have left no stone unturned to make this wagon well equipped with all the features you expect.

Is buying a used Audi RS 6 Avant a good idea?

You will find it to be a mission impossible since this is a new offering in the market. However, if you want a used wagon you will find plenty of used wagons for cheap, just not the RS 6 Avant.

2021 Audi RS 6 Avant Exterior

The exterior of this wagon is aggressive and would definitely get you some attention on the road. The glossy black color, carbon fiber splitter, rear spoilers perfectly match the overall design and make it a handsome car that would suit everyone. The Singleframe grille pattern is specific to the RS vehicles, and the upgraded front fascia makes it more elegant.

The Porsche Panamera and Mercedes AMG are slightly longer than RS 6, while the height of all three rivals is comparatively the same. The width is most rightly used by the Audi and is clearly seen in the cabin space figures. Ground clearance is quite similar for all rivals and would help clear large obstacles on the ground.

2021 Audi RS 6 Avant Competition

Audi RS 6 Avant vs Mercedes-AMG E63 S

The Mercedes-AMG E63 S is one of the most established wagons in the market, and the major reason for its success and popularity would be the Mercedes AMG tag. It offers one of the most luxurious cabins, with a powerful 603 hp V8 engine. The high performance is what makes it stand out from its rivals, while its practicality makes it a perfect family vehicle.

Mercedes-AMG E63 S

The Audi RS 6 falls no short from its rival and gives a tough competition through its 591 hp V8 engine, which has comparatively better mpg figures. The cabin space offered by the RS 6 is more, while the features and technology are at par with the Mercedes E63 wagon. The Mercedes stand at a higher cost than the Audi RS6, but both justify their worth.

Audi RS 6 Avant vs Porsche Panamera 4S

The 2020 Porsche Panamera 4S is another competitor for the RS 6, but the Porsche seems to fall short in terms of performance, and features compared to its rivals. The Porsche has lower hp figures, while the mpg figures are not that impressive to compensate with it. The cabin space is something that you could look upon, and the interior dimensions of the Porsche Panamera are at par with the Audi RS 6.

Porsche Panamera 4S

The price tag is what makes us doubt the worth of the Porsche Panamera, as it falls short in some specific features, but stands at a higher price than the RS 6.

2021 Audi RS 6 Avant Final Verdict

If you are a fan of wagons and want a high performance and luxurious vehicle, that would suit a family as well as a professional rider, the Audi RS 6 is where your search should stop. There is every feature for your comfort, safety, and entertainment in this wagon that you would expect from any of the luxury SUVs or sedans. The exterior is really fascinating and would not give you a feel of being a typical wagon. So, looking at the upgrades in the performance, features, and technology Audi has made to its wagon, we could surely say that the 2021 RS 6 Avant justifies its worth.
