2021 Audi A6 Exterior

9.0/10

The 2021 A6 doesn’t stray far from Audi’s familiar playbook, it looks similar to many other cars they’ve produced - The Car Connection

The 2021 Audi A6 follows a traditional sedan styling that has been modernized with sharp lines. That said, the exterior does change depending on the engine. When equipped with the 45 models (2.0L engine) the front fascia features smaller air intakes, with the V6 the front fascia turns more aggressive with bigger air intakes with added exterior highlights.

Apart from how aggressive the front fascia looks, the big grille adds to the character which comes in chrome or black depending on the trim, and the accents match accordingly. There are LED headlights and taillights, the Premium Plus and Prestige get Maxtrix LED headlights, and then come to the 19-inch wheels which can be upgraded to 20-inch wheels with the black optics package..

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class comes with less power and slightly slower in the 0-60 test as well, it even falls short against the A6 in fuel economy, driving range, and interior and trunk space. Even though the E-Class comes with many features and one of the best interiors in the automotive industry it is also pricier, making the A6 the better car.

2021 Audi A6 vs 2021 BMW 5-Series

The BMW 5-series comes with lesser power but with the same performance as the Audi A6. The BMW 5-series also offers more trunk room, better mpg figures, but the A6 offers more driving range and marginally more interior space. The deciding factor is price and the BMW is $1,500 more than the 2021 A6, but is a good option as well.

Premium inside but not free from kinks

Pros - Infotianment system, advanced directions, parking assistance

Cons - Grinding brake sound, miles for a gallon

Shows directions with 3d textures, picks up real quick when needed, handles incredibly well, helps tremendously while driving or parking. All this and with issues in the brakes that have a grinding sound when flooring the pedal . I'm close to 8k miles on the odo and the problems in the car are not acceptable at all. Nothing can come close to the infotainment system of Audi in terms of responsiveness, and interface. Peaceful cabin. Encourages to drive it even more. Tbh, I've taken a longer route to home from work a few times just to be able to drive it more No improvements needed there Grinding sound from the brakes is affecting the safety in it. Features like parking assistance, airbags, cruise control, and tire pressure system. Issues with the brakes and the overall miles for a gallon are not what a person looking for reliability would appreciate. Leased it @783 amonth. About the value, I'd say its not too bad except for a couple of issues that need fixing. Got the best deal from them. Also, the servicing guys are way to polite and understand what I bring to them

Smoothest of all

Pros - Smooth ride, center console with dual screen, four zone climate control

Cons - Paint protection applique has to be standard

Well Audi has been known for the comfort and A6 just nails that accolade. Smooth shifts, amazing suspension and good turning radius. Four zone climate control and dual screen setup as standard. No paint protection though Hands down the most comfortable car I've ever driven. Smooth suspension and shifts along with features like four zone climate control. Makes me want to chip of the paint with my hands. Such amazing paint quality deserves protection applique on it Ample amount of visibility and lots of safety features No breakdowns I can think of right now. Drives superb Good 62k including taxes and options No discounts of negotiations on the price. Professional staff and very easy going people.

Mix of everything

Pros - Comfort, mpg, driveability

Cons - Exhaust note, downshifts can be more aggressive

I traded in my 14' A3 and got my hands on this beautifully made A6. Straight off, it comes with far better throttle response and can also be driven comfortably in traffic. Only thing I see untouched are the downshifts which could have been more aggressive. As of now, it focusses only on the comfort despite so much power. I like the practicality it has. Can haul stuff, people, and keep us entertained. The seat moldings are raised to hug the driver during cornering. Comes with more features than my previous car but I think that's normal for an Audi. Not too much difference in the design. The signature headlight housing shape with led lights do make it shine but that will be just about it A lot of added features are standard unlike my A3 where most of the features came in under options No questions asked. Routine maintenance are on the higher side but it never disappoints. Bigger engine and obviously pricier than the basic 45tfsi trim. My previous A3 did hold its value and I'm pretty positive this one will be no different Not the first time I was there to buy a car and they did everything in their way to make sure I only get the best from them.

Premium inside but not free from kinks

Shows directions with 3d textures, picks up real quick when needed, handles incredibly well, helps tremendously while driving or parking. All this and with issues in the brakes that have a grinding sound when flooring the pedal

Smoothest of all

Well Audi has been known for the comfort and A6 just nails that accolade.

Mix of everything

I traded in my 14' A3 and got my hands on this beautifully made A6. Straight off, it comes with far better throttle response and can also be driven comfortably in traffic.

Deserves more bells and whistles

A6 with 3.0L 6 cylinders under the hood never go unaligned with what it is made for.
